Youthfest.in — Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy explains how Youthfest.in (operated by Sustainable Development Council) ships merchandise, delegate kits, awards/prizes, and other physical materials to participants, partners, and purchasers.
1. Scope
This policy applies to all physical goods ordered through Youthfest.in, including but not limited to merchandise (t-shirts, badges, souvenirs), delegate kits distributed for events, competition prizes, and printed materials.
2. Order Processing
- Orders are processed within 2–5 business days after payment confirmation, except during peak event periods when processing may take longer.
- You will receive an order confirmation email with order details. A separate shipment notification with tracking information will be sent once the item ships.
3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
- Domestic (within India): Standard shipping: 5–10 business days; Express shipping (where available): 2–4 business days.
- International: Delivery times vary by destination — typically 10–30 business days. Customs clearance may add additional time.
- Estimated delivery times are provided by carriers and are not guaranteed. Youthfest.in is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or force majeure events.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight/dimensions, and the chosen shipping method. Promotional offers or bulk-shipping arrangements may apply for sponsored delegations or partners.
5. Tracking
When your order ships, we will send tracking details to the email address provided. Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking information to become active on the carrier’s site.
6. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated. Youthfest.in is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from customs clearance.
7. Shipping to Events / On-Site Pickup
- For physical events, delegate kits and pre-ordered merchandise may be made available for on-site pickup. Pickup instructions and schedules will be provided on the event page and via email.
- If you opt for on-site delivery, ensure you collect items within the specified pickup window. Unclaimed items may be returned to sender or subject to additional handling fees.
8. Lost, Damaged or Incorrect Shipments
- Inspect shipments upon delivery. Report lost or damaged items to us within 7 days of delivery at application@unsdc.org.
- We will work with the carrier to investigate claims. For damaged items, please provide photos of the packaging and item. For lost shipments, we will initiate a carrier trace and, if eligible, offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.
9. Returns & Exchanges
Return policies for merchandise are set out on the product page at the time of purchase. Generally:
- Returns are accepted within 15 days of receipt for unused merchandise in original condition and packaging, unless otherwise stated.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
- Event-specific items or delegate kits may be non-returnable unless defective — see event terms.
10. Bulk Orders & Partner Shipments
For bulk orders, partner distributions, or sponsored delegations, contact our logistics team at application@unsdc.org to arrange consolidated shipping, special rates, or direct delivery to venues.
11. Changes to Shipping Address
Contact us promptly if you need to change the shipping address. Changes requested after dispatch may not be possible; additional fees may apply for address corrections or re-delivery.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, war, epidemics, governmental actions, or carrier disruptions.
