Youthfest.in — Cancellation & Refund Policy
This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the rules governing refunds, cancellations, transfers, and modifications for registrations, tickets, merchandise purchases, and other transactions made through Youthfest.in.
Youthfest.in is wholly owned, managed, and operated by the Sustainable Development Council (SDC). All content, branding, registrations, and payment systems under Youthfest.in are the exclusive property of SDC.
1. Ownership Statement
Youthfest.in, including its brand, website, digital assets, event modules, registrations, and all associated intellectual property, is the sole property of the Sustainable Development Council (SDC). No individual, organization, or third party holds any ownership rights or may use the brand/platform without written consent from SDC.
2. General Policy
No refund will be given to any participants under any circumstances. All payments made on Youthfest.in are strictly final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.
Once payment is completed for event registration, competitions, delegate fees, merchandise, or any service related to Youthfest.in, no cancellations, refunds, substitutions, or transfers will be permitted.
3. Non-Transferability
- Registrations, passes, delegate fees, and tickets cannot be transferred to another person.
- Change of name, substitution of participant, or reassigning entries is not permitted once the order is confirmed.
4. Event Cancellations by Organizer
If an event is canceled by Youthfest.in or the Sustainable Development Council due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., venue issues, natural disasters, government orders), one of the following resolutions may be provided at the Organizer’s discretion:
- A full or partial refund
- A credit voucher usable for future Youthfest events
- A rescheduled event date with automatic transfer of your registration
The Organizer will communicate the applicable resolution directly to affected participants.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
Youthfest.in may consider refund or credit requests only in extraordinary, verifiable situations, such as:
- Severe medical emergencies (with official medical documentation)
- Bereavement of an immediate family member
All such requests must be submitted via email to application@unsdc.org with proof. Decisions will be made solely by the Organizer and may include administrative deduction fees.
6. Merchandise Orders
Merchandise purchased through Youthfest.in follows the standard Shipping & Returns Policy. Merchandise once ordered cannot be canceled. Refunds are only applicable in cases of:
- Defective or damaged products (reported within 7 days)
- Incorrect item shipped
- Lost shipments confirmed by the carrier
7. No-Shows
No refunds or credits will be issued for:
- Participants who fail to attend an event
- Missed sessions, competitions, or workshops
- Late arrivals or inability to participate due to travel delays
8. Processing Timelines
For approved exceptional refunds (if any):
- Refund processing may take 7–21 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
- Processing fees or deductions may apply.
